About…

Hi and welcome!

I’m a passionate Early Years Specialist and proud mum of two, with over 15 years of hands-on experience working with children of all ages across a wide range of settings. My heart lies in early childhood and I’m dedicated to championing high-quality care and education during this crucial stage of life.

I firmly believe in the power of learning through play, outdoor exploration and connecting with nature. These principles are at the heart of my practice and I love helping others see just how joyful and impactful they can be. I’m a strong advocate for hygge-inspired learning – creating cosy, calm and nurturing environments where children feel safe, valued and connected. I also support children’s schemas of play and always strive to treat each child as the unique individual they are. I adapt my teaching to suit their learning styles and follow their interests to help them thrive in a way that feels natural and engaging.

This webpage has been inspired by my passion for all things early years, my love of supporting others and my joy for writing. I offer practical advice rooted in both experience and ongoing professional development. I’m fully qualified, with a wide range of specialist training in early years education and I hold a Makaton Level 4 certification and have been honoured with several awards in recognition of my work in the field. My goal is to support professionals, educators, and families by sharing knowledge, offering practical tips and inspiring confident, compassionate practice.

Through blogs, articles, guidance – and even the occasional bit of poetry – I’ll be exploring a range of relevant topics in a relatable, friendly way. Whether you’re an educator, a parent, or somewhere in between, I hope this space brings you insight, encouragement, and maybe even a spark of inspiration.

Let’s nurture, grow and learn together.
